Rita Cirillo
My art is a reflection of my life and my values. I see it as a path to spiritual and personal growth.
I began painting with serious intent in 1998, studying with several accomplished artists and later teaching at Cottonwood Art Academy in Colorado Springs. I currently offer periodic art classes.
Through the years I’ve won numerous awards, most recently, First Place Professional at Peak Art Plein Air 2025 in Woodland Park, CO. I have been invited to participate in many invitational shows and been a member of several artist organizations and galleries. You can see the full details on my website.
In 2023, I published my first instructional book geared towards the beginner/intermediate painter or anyone interested in painting basics. The book is available at Twin Flame Gallery, Victor, CO and on Amazon.
I am currently working on a second book about painting outdoors.
My mural work can be seen at the Cripple Creek Heritage Center and the Brass Ass Casino in Cripple Creek, Colorado.
