Gary was fascinated with trains as a child in Vermont, with vivid memories as an infant in his grandfather’s arms and witness to the visceral sounds, smells, sights and motion of an operating steam locomotive. Indelible images. That interest fueled a hobby in trains until overwhelmed by the discovery of team sports, cars and girls.

He was educated as an architect, but those years revealed he had more of an engineer’s mind and spent over 42 years designing plumbing and piping systems on projects around the country. This profession allowed him the opportunity to live and explore many places including Houston Texas, Tucson Arizona, Calgary Alberta Canada, Las Vegas Nevada, Denver Colorado and currently in Cripple Creek Colorado.

He also developed an early appreciation for the Mother Nature’s gifts which persist to this day. An avid hiker and climber he summited many of Colorado’s 14ers and has trekked the Nepalese Himalayas including a trip to Everest basecamp. After a knee injury he took up bicycling reinvigorating another lost passion of his youth. After receiving a United States Cycling Federation Coaching license, he became Head Coach for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s ‘Team in Training’ program for 12 seasons in which he taught and trained everyday people the physical and mental skills to ride 100 miles in a day in events across the west. He has ridden well over two dozen century rides. A most enjoyable part of life.

Gary’s been a ‘car guy’ since before he could drive, having owned muscle cars, Porsches and high end SUVs and BMWs. His current stable includes a BMW M6 and a 50-year-old chevy pickup.

He has been a ‘best man’ in 5 weddings but remained unattached until after the age of 50, mostly by choice, until the love of his life and soul mate found him. His wife D has always encouraged him to maintain the passions and love of life he always exhibited but brought a sense of peace and tranquility he had previously never known. He is forever indebted to her.

Gary has a simple creed to life: You have two choices; you can participate in life or be a spectator of it. He has never been a spectator.

He thanks you and appreciates your interest in his models and interest enough to have read this profile.

Peace, good health and happiness to all.
